3.25.1. Preview an Animation
Click the Animations tab. Click the Preview button.
3.25.2. View a slide's animation in Slide Sorter view
In Slide Sorter view, click a slide's animation icon to view the animation.
3.25.3. Apply a Customized Animation
Click the Animations tab. Click the Custom Animations button.
In the Custom Animation task pane, click Add Effect, point to a category,
and then choose an effect from the animation list.
Use the Modify Effect options in the Custom Animation task pane to further modify the effect.
Click the Play button to see the animation effect.
3.25.4. Add Sound to an Animation
Click the Animations tab. Click the Custom Animations button.
In the Animation Order list, click the list arrow of the animation to add a sound,
and then click Effect Options.
Click the Sound list arrow, and then click the sound effect.
To add your own sound, click Other Sound from the list
Select the sound you want, and then click OK.
Click OK.
Click the Play button to hear the animation effect.
3.25.5. Animate Text
Select the text. Click the Animations tab,
and then click the Custom Animation button.
In the Custom Animation task pane, click Add Effect,
point to a category, and then choose an effect from the animation list.
In the Animation Order list, click the list arrow of the animation,
and then click Effect Options.
Click the Animate Text list arrow, and then click the effect.
Click OK, and then click Play.
3.25.6. Animate Bulleted Lists
Select the bulleted text.
Click the Animations tab, and then click the Custom Animation button.
In the Custom Animation task pane, click Add Effect,
point to a category, and then choose an effect from the animation list.
In the Animation Order list, click the list arrow of the animation,
and then click Effect Options.
Click the Text Animation tab, click the Group Text list arrow,
and then click at what paragraph level bulleted text will be animated.
Click OK, and then click Play.
3.25.7. Dim Text After the Animation
Select the text.
Click the Animations tab, and then click the Custom Animation button.
In the Custom Animation task pane, click Add Effect,
point to a category, and then choose an effect from the animation list.
In the Animation Order list, click the list arrow of the animation,
and then click Effect Options.
Click the After Animation list arrow, and then click the dim text color.
Click OK, and then click Play to see the animation effect.
3.25.8. Add Multiple Animation Effects to Slide Objects
Select the slide object.
Click the Animations tab, and then click the Custom Animation button.
Click the Add Effect button, point to a category and then choose an animation effect.
Click the Start, Direction, or Speed list arrow, and then select the option.
3.25.9. Modify the Animation Order
Select the slide object. Click the Animations tab, and then click the Custom Animation button.
In the Animation Order list, click an animation.
Click the Re-Order Up or Down arrow button.
Click the Play button.
3.25.10. Set Time Between Animations
Select the slide object. Click the Animations tab, and then click the Custom Animation button.
In the Animation Order list, click the list arrow of an animation, and then click Timing.
Click the Start list arrow, and then click After Previous.
Use the Delay arrows to select the number of seconds between this animation and the previous event.
Click OK.
3.25.11. Remove an Animation
Select the slide object. Click the Animations tab, and then click the Custom Animation button.
Click the animation to remove from the Animation Order list, and then click the list arrow. Click Remove.
