2.12.1. Select and Deselect an Object
To select an object, move the pointer over the object, and then click to select.
To select multiple objects, press and hold Shift as you click each object.
Press Ctrl+A to select all objects on a slide.
To deselect an object, click outside its border.
To deselect one of a group of objects, press and hold Shift, and then click the object.
2.12.2. Resize an Object
Move the pointer over a sizing handle. Drag the sizing handle.
2.12.3. Move an Object
Move the mouse pointer over the object, and then drag it. To move unfilled objects, drag the border. To move an object in a straight line, press Shift as you drag the object. Click the object, and then press the arrow keys to move the object.
2.12.4. Use keyboard shortcuts to cut, copy, and paste objects
To cut an object, select the object and then press Ctrl+X. To copy an object, select the object, and then press Ctrl+C. To paste an object, press Ctrl+V.
2.12.5. Delete an Object
Click the object you want to delete. Press Delete.
2.12.6. Copy or Move an Object in One Step
Hold down the Ctrl key, and then drag the object to copy it, or simply drag the object to move it.
2.12.7. Copy or Move an Object
Select the object. Click the Home tab. Click the Copy button or click the Cut button.
Display the slide and Click the Paste button.
2.12.8. Move an Object with Precision
Select the object. Click the Format tab under Drawing Tools. Click the Size Dialog Box Launcher.
Click the Position tab to move the object and change settings.
Click Close.
2.12.9. Rotate an Object to any Angle
Click the object. Position the pointer over the green rotate lever, and then drag.
Click outside the object to finish the rotation.
2.12.10. Rotate or Flip an Object Using Preset Increments
Click the object. Click the Format tab under Drawing or Picture Tools. Click the Rotate button.
2.12.11. Precisely Rotate an Object
Click the object. Click the Format tab under Drawing or Picture Tools. Click the Rotate button, and then click More Rotation Options.
Enter the angle of rotation. Click Close.
2.12.12. Constrain the rotation to 15-degree increments
Press and hold Shift when you rotate the object.
